RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR THE SVÁLEMOSEN HOMEOWNERS' ASSOCIATION

Every property owner is obligated to keep their property free from weeds and similar vegetation up to the middle of the road. Weeds and the like must be cut, and the clippings removed by May 1st, June 1st, and July 1st each year, on which dates inspections will take place. The board appoints two members to the Rules Committee.

In the event of neglect of the above rules, the board may, following inspection by the Rules Committee and without prior notice to the owner, have the neglected maintenance carried out at the owner's expense. The association's treasurer will collect the cost along with an administrative fee.

DIGGING UP the roads is prohibited.

USE OF POWER TOOLS: From May 1st to September 30th, use is permitted on Saturdays only from 9 AM to 6 PM. On Sundays, public holidays, and Constitution Day (June 5th), it is only allowed from 9 AM to 12 noon.

BURNING of garden waste is prohibited.

BICYCLE RIDING on the paths and beach area is not allowed.

DOGS are not permitted on the bathing jetty.

Addition, June 2025 – Trim Your Hedge:

As a property owner, you are required to trim your vegetation so it stays within your property and does not obstruct sidewalks, paths, or roads.
